The inauguration of Krishak Gyan Vigyan Mandapam was done by the hands of Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan on 7th April 2025 at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Nandurbar. Senior scientist Padma Vibhushan Dr. Anilji Kakodkar was present at the event. Yojak’s National President, Ma. Dr. Gajananji Dange, was a key participant and guide from the concept of the Mandapam to its actual unveiling. All the members of Dr. Hedgewar Seva Samiti and all the people of Krishi Vigyan Kendra participated and cooperated fully in this.

It is a matter of pride that the foundation stone of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Nandurbar, run by Dr. Hedgewar Seva Samiti, was laid by the hands of Shri Nanaji Deshmukh. The Krishi Vigyan Kendra has achieved success and awards due to the coordinated efforts of ICAR, SAU, NABARD, RGSTC, various state departments etc. Under the joint aegis of Rajeev Gandhi Science and Technology Commission, Mumbai (Government of Maharashtra) and Dr. Hedgewar Seva Samiti, Cillage based Area Development Programme (CADP) is working in Nandurbar district. This project of village development based on science and technology has received guidance from renowned scientist Dr. Anil Kakodkar. Under this Cillage project, Women’s Technology Park and Farmer Knowledge Promotion Centre i.e. ‘Krishi Mandapam’ have been constructed in the Krishi Vigyan Kendra for the promotion and dissemination of latest technology for agriculture and campus development. This Krishak Mandapam has created exhibitions, trainings and technical input facilities to promote technology adoption among farmers. To promote industries based on local natural resources in rural areas, ‘Women’s Technology Park’ has been established, dedicated exclusively for women. This center offers hands-on training for women farmers in a variety of industries. It is ideal for providing women with technical skills in agriculture.
